What OpenTable Notify Me does
Notify Me sends a push notification if an already-booked time you asked for frees up at one restaurant on one date.
Each alert covers one restaurant on one date, only on OpenTable, so several restaurants means several setups, and you still have to tap and claim the table before someone else does.
Where Concierge fits
Concierge lets you watch a OpenTable restaurant with one rule: a party size, the dates you want and the hours you want. Biter monitors OpenTable around the clock for a table that matches, and the same rule can cover restaurants on Resy and SevenRooms at the same time.
When a match appears, the push opens the OpenTable booking page. Biter does not book the table, change OpenTable’s inventory, or give you any priority inside OpenTable. It simply gets the news to you while the table is still open, which is the part OpenTable Notify Me tends to miss.
Before you rely on an alert
- An alert is not a reservation. The table was open when Biter checked and may be claimed by someone else before you finish.
- Be signed in to OpenTable on your phone so the booking page is one tap from confirmed.
- Deposits, cancellation fees and party-size limits are set by the restaurant and apply exactly as they would without Biter.
